AICHINGER with Brotatelier Pretzner and Marktkauf Lehr in STORE BOOK 2024
Award-winning fresh food worlds of experience
AICHINGER is featured in the STORE BOOK 2024 of the German Shopfitting Association dLv with the Pretzner Brotatelier in Kössen and Marktkauf Lehr in Paderborn. This is the most important yearbook in the shopfitting industry. The 60 recognized projects are considered a benchmark for international store design. “These award-winning projects illustrate the purchasing impulses that high-quality fresh food experience worlds create,” explains Sebastian Holzberger, Head of Marketing at AICHINGER.
Brotatelier Pretzner
The Pretzner Bakery stands for bread expertise in the Kaiserwinkel region. This also applies to the new location in Kössen. At the same time, an exclusive daytime restaurant with breakfast, lunch and a café to be opened, which is frequented by locals and holidaymakers alike in the tourist destination. The elongated form of the 300 m2 space and the relatively small shop window front have resulted in a semi-circular arrangement of the counters. The bakery counter and the culinary offerings are thus visible to those entering. Materials such as granite and local wood create a high-quality atmosphere, while a conscious decision has been made to avoid alpine folklore. The slatted table islands structure the space and create a sense of well-being for guests. The project was implemented to the design concept of Davide Conti Architektur from AICHINGER.
Marktkauf Lehr
The tangible freshness of meat, sausage, fish and cheese is a key and very successful distinctive feature for Thomas Lehr’s Marktkauf in Paderborn following the conversion of the 2,200 m2 store. The design and product presentation of the counter system showcase the goods in the best possible light. In the SIRIUS®3 counter system, the round AirMaxx convection refrigerated counter draws attention to the fish range. In the fresh food area, vertical, orange-colored light strips complement the otherwise black and white design and are complemented by orange-colored mirror surfaces. Mirrored ceiling panels visually extend the space. The project was implemented by AICHINGER according to the design concept by Kinzel Project.
