Supermarket with theatrical character: EDEKA Schneidermarkt stages freshness à la Wagner – with AICHINGER refrigeration units as the perfect backdrop! In the new EDEKA Schneidermarkt in the Riedinger-Center Bayreuth, shopping experience meets staging: on over 3,500 m², a fresh food market has been created that is sure to impress with its regional heart, strong design and incredible storytelling. The store’s design, created by Wanzl, pays homage to Richard Wagner and the city of Bayreuth. At the fresh food counter, for example, Siegfried’s legendary sword Notung and the fire that imprisoned his beloved Brünhilde play a central role. AICHINGER was able to equip the fresh food area with tailor-made solutions that combine design, efficiency and experience. Particularly impressive: the circular AirMaxx fan-cooled refrigerated counter for fresh fish with its elegant gold finish. AICHINGER also sets the tone in the self-service area: with the TopSpot MIO+ self-service refrigerated display case for flexible impulse placements and the TopSpot ECOplus glazed self-service refrigerated display case, which sets new standards with up to 70% less energy consumption.
